Director, Business Development & Account Executive – The Right Plan – Life Sciences Meeting Planning Firm (now a division of aktaPD)
Responsibilities include new business development and project management of key accounts in tourism, sports, film, government, and international sectors. Serves dual roles as Account Executive and Project Manager responsible for conceptualization, planning, and execution of comprehensive time lines, staff coordination, and project management, having managed events in Latin America, Europe, United States, Canada, and The Caribbean.
Account Executive: develop business relationships and ensure client satisfaction. Work hand–in–hand with the rest of the account project team. Duties include: client single point of contact; strategic planning, operations, service delivery and savings; leadership, ensuring goals and objectives are met or exceeded; supervision of project manager; data analysis; performance account reviews; sourcing/auditing of all contracts; budget development of >$600K and post-event financial reconciliation; and ensuring compliance to company and client guidelines.
International Event Project Manager – The Right Plan – Life Sciences Meeting Planning Firm (now a division of aktaPD)
Oversight of project from conceptualization to completion with emphasis on international meetings due to multilingual language skills (English, Spanish, French, and Italian). Duties included: planning, implementing and follow-up for 25 tradeshows, seminars, webinars and special events; design, organization, and coordination of event logistics; assisting with budget preparation of >$300K per year and monitoring by providing periodic process reports to staff directors; tracking event finances, including check requests, invoicing, and reporting; supervising on-site staff, vendors, and preferred suppliers; coordination of workload and program assignments; development of trip itineraries and details; and registration management for international meetings.
Meeting Registration and Office Manager – The Right Plan – Life Sciences Meeting Planning Firm (now a division of aktaPD)
Supported company operations by maintaining office systems and daily office administration. Duties included: maintaining office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions; providing historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records; maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
